Dragon Boat Niagara 2015 is delighted to announce Niagara's own RegattaSport as the Official Apparel Partner and Volunteer Outfitter for the two international championships taking place at the Welland International Flatwater Centre this August.

Opening their doors March 1988 in Port Dalhousie, RegattaSport was inspired by two world-class rowers who saw a need for athletic wear. RegattaSport's roots are firmly planted here in Niagara where they produce technical racing and training apparel, across a number of sports, outfitting teams from all over the world at all levels – including the Olympics. RegattaSport co-owner Chris Cookson states “RegattaSport is proud to be the Official Apparel Partner of Dragon Boat Niagara 2015 and we look forward to welcoming the athletes from around the world for Dragon Boat Niagara 2015. We wish success to all the Organizing Committee and competitors on the water this coming August."

Attracting up to 4,000 participants from 30+ countries, Dragon Boat Niagara 2015 is a unique combination of two (2) international dragon boat racing championships together in Welland, Ontario from August 12-23, 2015: Pan American Club Crew Dragon Boat Championships (August 14 – 16) and the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) 12th World Dragon Boat Racing Championships (August 18-23).

Official apparel of Dragon Boat Niagara 2015 and the Championships will be available online leading up to the events and available for purchase at the Venue throughout the competition. RegattaSport will be outfitting some 400 plus volunteers, staff and officials. “With the world coming, being able to award the position of Official Apparel Partner and Volunteer Outfitter to RegattaSport, an internationally respected, local company, is an important example of the businesses we have in Niagara, and the economic benefit Dragon Boat Niagara 2015 and sport tourism has in the local and regional economy," suggested Stephen Fischer, Executive Director of the Welland Recreational Canal Corporation and the Welland International Flatwater Centre.
